Callmy were once again pleased to support Hartpury University with their WellFest event.

WellFest is hosted in conjunction with Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership and Gloucestershire Healthy Living and Learning, and is a day dedicated to helping students to keep their minds and bodies well.

Recognising the increase in mental health illness among young people, Wellfest puts the focus on keeping students healthy and happy and sees around 3000 students take part in activities and educational workshops.

Hartpury already runs workshops on anti-bullying, drugs and alcohol awareness, radicalisation awareness, sexual and mental health, sexual exploitation and much more. By inviting in other organisations to WellFest, students can access all the information and advice they need in one place and know where they can turn to for help.

Hartpury use the Callmy Alert service to broadcast emergency information to staff and students, via a dedicated app installed on their smartphones, and this has the added benefit of providing an integrated personal SOS capability, for enhanced personal safety and security whilst working alone.
