Also provided, as part of the service, is an Administration Portal. This provides authorised administrators with access to the Callmy Alert User Monitor Map and reports on how users are using their devices.
This is useful for the management of the service and to highlight any potential training requirements, under/over usage and users who are not complying with the lone working policy.
Reports include details on:
Date and time of SOS activation and how long active for
Access to audio recordings – when SOS was active
Users who have activated their SOS
No use
Location history – when SOS was active
Audio recording export feature for evidential purposes
As well as being viewable in the management portal, these details can also be exported to Excel for further analysis. All usage data is encrypted and securely stored within the Callmy Alert service, until the customer requires its removal.
Alarm Receiving Centre
SOS activations are triaged by a dedicated Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), situated in a secure location in the UK, that operates on a 24×7 basis.
The Callmy Alert ARC is certified by NSI to the required BS8484:2016 standard – this permits the ARC to mobilise the emergency services nationally, on behalf of third parties. The ARC is also ISO27001, BS5979 and ISO9001 accredited.
The ARC’s staff are security-screened to the BS7858 standard.
The ARC is hosted in a highly secure location served by a resilient and business continuity ready infrastructure.

The Callmy Alert lone working device includes the following features as standard:
- Panic Button – to enable the user to notify the ARC they are in possible danger and require assistance. The ARC can see the end user’s location, track their movements, and access the microphone on the device to listen to what is happening at the scene.
- Man-down – when the device detects no movement for one minute and a horizontal position this will automatically trigger the SOS alert to notify the ARC.
- Audio access – when the SOS has been activated the ARC response team can access the microphone on the device to listen to what is happening at the scene of the activation. In addition, the ARC can call the device directly to contact the user and further triage the situation. All audio recordings are archived
on the service and are accessible via the management Portal. - Location tracking – the ARC monitoring team and authorised service administrators can view the location of devices via the Callmy Alert Management Portal. Users’ devices appear as pins on the map, and these can be colour coded to highlight job roles and responsibilities – such as first aiders, maintenance staff, managers, etc. When an SOS alert has been activated a “breadcrumb” trail is archived on the service and can be accessed, via the Management Portal, for audit purposes.
Security
Callmy Alert is delivered using the Microsoft Azure cloud and is hosted via data centres based in the United Kingdom and European Union. The data-hosting environment is ISO27001 compliant and is approved by NCSC to hold and transact UK Government communications to the OFFICIAL level of security classification. All data at rest uses a 256 AES encryption and data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS.
Callmy Ltd complies with the GDPR and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZA220018.
Secure document storage
When you are using Callmy Alert to communicate during an emergency it is logical to have easy access to relevant documentation that will aid your response and recovery. Business continuity plans, cyber security policies and evacuation procedures will all potentially come into play. However, if access to documents isn’t practical, executing an effective response may be compromised.
Also consider if the corporate network isn’t available or is under attack – will the required information be available?
Callmy Alert enables relevant documents to be uploaded, stored and accessed from within
the service. Documents are encrypted, stored
in IS027001 certified data centres and are only available to administrators via their secure login.
